Draco Dunphy
Draco Dunphy is an advocate for revitalizing Indigenous languages and for promoting truth and reconciliation across all levels of society. A young Mi’kmaq man from Harbour Main, Draco is an undergraduate at Memorial University in St. John’s, where he is pursuing a triple major in Business, Economics, and Linguistics, along with a Certificate in Public Policy. He currently serves as Sustainability Director with the Memorial University Students’ Union (MUNSU) and as the Indigenous Student Representative with the Canadian Federation of Students in Newfoundland and Labrador (CFS-NL). As a leader in the student movement, Draco seeks to create a more inclusive space for Indigenous Peoples in student organizing.
